Michelle Hagen started singing in musicals at age 8 at Magic Circle Theatre in Roseville, CA. At age 10 she started learning how to play her first instrument, the clarinet. She later studied the piano as well as percussion.
Going to a small university (California Lutheran University) meant she had the opportunity to perform in several musical ensembles including the Women’s Choral, CLU Choir, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble and the CLU Orchestra.
Even with teaching and motherhood keeping her busy she still loves to perform. She currently sings with the Gold Coast Concert Chorus. In February 2020 she performed along with the Gold Coast Concert Chorus in the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City.
